How to be Safe on Social Media

One of the things that I found interesting is that I went around the class and asked some of the people about how to be safe on different sites and they all had different opinions on it. One of the things I learned about the Internet is that everything will stay there forever and nothing can be done about that. It is kept in a safe house and is kept there. No matter what you do to delete it, it will not be able to be undone.

Netiquette

This is a piece of work that I had to do with Ella, at the start I was like this is going to go so well we will work together great, 12:00 comes around and we have barely started and then I am like this was a bad idea to be paired together, but we started to focus and we made something that we are both proud of, when I was working with Ella she gave a different view on ways to email the teachers and students, she emails a lot different to me and it was nice to see another perspective on things. Another new piece of learning for me was the way she thought something was the way she could easily think of things that were Formal and Informal, an easy example of Formal is making sure you are using proper language and proper sentences, but then it would be different if you would message your friend because you would use acronyms instead of using full words.

Shop Day

This is our presentation for our Shop Day. The second part of it in blue was the planning that went behind the stall we had. We made rainbow sherbet and even though the colors didn't come out it was still so nice. The flavors were there and we have made $133 so far and there is still lunch to go and are going amazing so far. We have still got lots of bags to sell and we might reduce the prices of them. For now and originally the Price was $2 for 1/4 of a cup of sherbet and then $3 was a bag of sherbet and a lollipop. We weren't selling as many as we wanted to so we reduced the price to $1 and $2. And now we are going to just sell all of them for a dollar, for the deal of either 2 or 1 and a lollipop. As a whole, it has been a great experience in all. the 4 hours spent making them on Monday and then the frantic of the rush this morning trying to keep making them with most of our group at the self-defense and them not letting us out early to try and help Liam. In all it was impressive. Something I learned from this task is a lot more about Products, Profit and a lot more about the usage of money. And another thing I got out of it is to be able to help out with the money for the Motu End of year Trail/Bike party.

Making a Book for Little Kids about the Importance/How to Keep Yourself safe on the Interent

\ This week for school for Maniakalani we make a slide deck and had a buddy we didn't know and weren't allowed to talk to them face to face, we had to talk to them over the screen, it was a real challenge because you could type what you are doing along with explaining it at the same time so it was a lot harder than I thought but in the end it turned out Ok, I think if I had a bit more time I would change it and I might update it later on when I do fix it up, My buddy was Luke Holdsworth.

Art

This is another one piece of art I did for school, I choose to do a piece of art each week as part of our timetable and as part of our Must Dos. Each week we have a new set of must do's to do to help the teachers put us in our learner profiles, they go from TG - Teacher Guided, they need more support in completing there work, then there is SM - Self Managed, they still need a little support to finish there work but otherwise they are fine, there is also SD and SA, SD is Self Directed, it is you take control and the teachers are there if you desperately need it otherwise we should be fine, and the last one is SA, Self Agent, when you are in Self Agent you don't need any help at all, you should be fine and completing your tasks to a high standard.

Writing

This is one of my Pieces of writing and I chose to do some haikus and I am really happy with the way it has turned out, I think I did a good job with it and I and proud to say this is my piece of work, I like that the words I chose were meaningful and a lot different to what I normally write, I mean I usually write a lot of dark things but this one wasn't like that. I had to think long and hard about what I had to write and how I would write it

Drawing for School

This is one of my drawings that I had to do for school - Well I choose to do this but it was for school
I am proud of this because it turned out really amazing and I like that fact that you are looking into the city through a different eye
I learned that staying up all night to do a bit of art can be amazing, especially when they turn out good, everybody says that this is good, I agree but I think it is good for the meaning it has to me
One thing I would do moving forward with this is trust myself more with my pencil and patience can be really helpful, another thing is to try and shade things more
